The Grand Theatre of Fez is a major cultural project designed to enrich the artistic scene of Morocco's spiritual capital. Designed to accommodate up to 1,010 spectators, it will include a performance hall spread over two levels: an orchestra hall, and a balcony. Located between the Fez Botanical Gardens and the Dokkarat industrial district, the theater will also include a reception hall with a cafeteria, as well as a large forecourt decorated with benches and fountains, designed to host outdoor events such as shows or concerts.

The City of Trades and Skills of Fez-Meknes is a new-generation vocational training institution designed to meet the region's specific needs in terms of skills development and professional integration. Led by the Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT), this initiative is part of the new roadmap for the development of vocational training in Morocco, presented to His Majesty King Mohammed VI in April 2019. Located on an 11-hectare site, the CMC of Fez-Meknes was designed to accommodate up to 3,140 training places per year. Agropolis was founded in Meknes in 2010, on a total area of 130 Ha, providing a total of 225 lots. the project is the ideal ecosystem to host industrial activities including food processing, logistics and marketing activities, packaging stations, tertiary activities, training and research and development. Agropolis intends to become a true competitiveness pole, tackle the challenges ahead. it is created with the objective of providing business leaders and researchers with the opportunity to carry out collaborative research and development projects that will enable companies to generate value and employment in the region. This is to be achieved through the establishment of two poles: Agroparc and Qualipole Alimentation, which will enhance the value of key sectors such as olive oil, fruit/vegetables, cereals, milk and meat.

• Location: The Agropole of Meknes enjoys a privileged geographical location, in the center of Morocco in the commune of Sidi Slimane Moul Kifane. This regional AgriTech innovation and entrepreneurship hub, supported by the French Development Agency, aims to establish an ecosystem for the emergence of the underexploited potential of the Fez-Meknes region in its traditional activities (particularly agri-food) and the development of territorial growth drivers that create wealth and jobs, particularly through the intersection of research, innovation and entrepreneurial development in the aforementioned sectors, taken individually or in synergy. Today, the Region, the Wilaya of Fez-Meknes and the Regional Investment Center are associated with it. The analysis of the agricultural sector in the Fez-Meknes region reveals a multitude of constraints that hinder its development, despite the fact that it positions itself as one of the leading agri-food regions in the Kingdom. These obstacles include the fragmentation of agricultural land, which affects its profitability, and irregular rainfall and the decline in groundwater, which have a negative impact on the cultivated area and annual production. Added to this are soil erosion, desertification, and the depletion of minerals in the soil, which lead to a reduction in arable land and a deterioration of pastures. To address these challenges, it is now common to refer to a "green revolution 2.0." This is how the Tech4Farmers incubation program was born. Implemented as part of the Cluster's activities, it annually supports 20 project leaders through more than 200 hours dedicated to building the capacities of AgriTech entrepreneurs in technology, management, and agronomy. As one of the projects of Medina Fez, funded through a grant from "Millennium Challenge Corporation" (MCC) and intended to revive the craft, the reconstruction of Lalla Yeddouna square, a strategic space, with an area of 7,000 m², which connects Adouat al-Qaraouiyyine to Adouat al-Andalous. Involving a budget of MMAD 330, the project includes the rehabilitation of 11 historical buildings, the renovation of 8 non-architectural buildings, the restoration of a historical bridge and the development of the river and outdoor spaces. This project is carried out in a joint partnership between the Moroccan Government, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Department of Handicrafts, the Local Authorities of Fez and ADER-Fez. Objective: Boost economic growth through the upgrading of heritage by targeting handicraft, tourism and entertainment sectors:

Oued Fez Golf City is an integrated urban project featuring a unique positioning and an innovative opportunity for living, entertaining and investing. It was designed by Bernard REICHEN, who received the Urban Planning Award in 2005. The project is laid out in perfect harmony around an 18-hole golf course developed by Jonathan GAUNT. It represents the city's new residential and tourist hub, with its hotels and residential units and a living area consisting of entertainment, shops and leisure facilities. Assets :

• An 18-hole golf oasis spread over 60 hectares.

The former Cotef zone is only 20 minutes away from the Fez-Saïss international airport, the ONCF Bensouda dry port and the Fez-Meknes highway. Indeed, the land reclamation and the opening of calls for projects for the construction of industrial units in rental mode by Fez-Meknes RIC, triggered the development of this 15.2-hectare land formerly served as the Fez Textile Complex, which has long been the flagship of the textile industry in Morocco until 2005 when it ceased operating. By the end of May 2021, 20 projects have been selected by the Unified Regional Investment Commission (CRUI) following a rigorous multicriteria selection methodology (added value of the activity, investment amount, job opportunities, completion deadline, export, etc). The upcoming Ain Cheggag Industrial Park (ACIP) launched on October 14, 2020, covers an area of 81 hectares. The ACIP is a promising new hub of activity for the commune of Ain Chegag and should, meanwhile, create 7,600 direct jobs. The forecasted overall budget for the project amounts to 303 MD and is supported at MMAD 145.26, by the Ministry of Industry with MMAD 100, the Ministry of Environment with MMAD 20 and the Regional Council of Fez-Meknes with MMAD 25.26. The management of the park will be ensured by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Fez-Meknes, while its governance will be entrusted to a central committee chaired by the Ministry of Industry, a regional committee chaired by the Wilaya of Fez-Meknes, as well as a commission for the allocation and monitoring of the development of the project. This project is divided into two distinct areas:

• An industrial zone dedicated to leather trades and their ecosystem, which spreads over 50 hectares. Tanneries, leather goods and shoe manufacturing units will receive a leather grant, a logistics zone, multiple support activities and services as well as showrooms.
• A new generation general industrial zone of 31 Ha. Meeting the best international standards, it includes a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) designed to treat effluents and environmental nuisances. It also provides economic operators with high value-added services, training and logistics … etc.

This program, which requires an investment of about MMAD 400, aims to improve accessibility to the old medina through the development of eight car parks (Bin Lamdoun, Bab Guissa, Bab Jdid, Bab Hamra, Ain Azliten, Oued Zhoun, Bab Boujloud, Sidi Bounafae), the paving of streets, alleys, squares and plazas, the rehabilitation of openings, the addressing of streets, alleys, squares and plazas of the Medina and the installation of information terminals for locals, visitors and tourists.

The main objective of this project is to find an alternative to the current overexploitation of the groundwater, which records an annual deficit of 100 million m3/year. The contribution of surface water is considered as an alternative to limit the pressure on groundwater. The average annual volume to be transferred is about 125 Mm ³. Indeed, the water from the dam would make it possible to serve a priority area of 30,000 ha, and to meet several objectives: of which the two most important are as follows:

1. Stop the progressive and rapid depletion of the Saïss groundwater, caused by:
   • The irregularity and decrease in rainfall leading to an overuse of groundwater;
   • The farmers' unrestricted pumping behavior, thus increasing the overexploitation of groundwater.
2. Enable agricultural development based on better irrigation water productivity;

HM King Mohammed VI launched on Monday at the R'cif Place in Fez, the program to enhance economic activities and improve the living environment in the Medina of Fez (2020-2024), a new generation program aimed at safeguarding and perpetuating traditional trades and promoting the living conditions of citizens. This program, worth 670 million dirhams, testifies to HM the King's constant willingness to preserve the architectural and historical character of the medina of Fez and to promote the influence of this thousand-year-old city, inscribed in 1981 on the World Heritage List by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). This new program, which concerns 1,197 sites, provides for the restoration and rehabilitation of the historical heritage of the medina of Fez (4 sites/MAD 13.5 million), the requalification and upgrading of urban areas (9 sites/MAD 105.55 million), the strengthening of the tourist and economic attractiveness of this City-Museum (33 sites/MAD 87.5 million), the development of local social facilities (171 sites/ MAD 263.45 million) and the renovation of dangerously run-down housing (980 sites/ MAD 200 million).

•  Project location: the project is located in the core of Ain Aicha, at the eastern border of its urban perimeter. It is delimited in the South by the Provincial Road RP5314 connecting Ain Aicha to Ain Mediouna, and bordered to the North by Oued Ouargha.

Development of 7 logistics zones on an area of 365 Ha. Open to private and public investment and intended to house different operators in the sector, such logistics zones will be equipped with a modern logistics infrastructure consisting of quality real estate components and adjusted to the economic activities of the region.
