The Regional Investment Center of the Fez-Meknes region welcomed a large Italian delegation on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, led by His Excellency the Consul General of Italy in Casablanca and Mr. Francesco Pagnini, Director of the Italian Trade Agency Office – Section for the Promotion of Trade at the Italian Embassy.
The delegation was received by Mr. Mohamed Sabri, Director General of the Fez-Meknes RIC. This meeting is part of the RIC’s ongoing efforts to promote the region’s economic attractiveness and encourage high-value international partnerships.
During this meeting, Mr. Sabri presented the economic strengths of Fez-Meknes, highlighting the diversity of the region’s growth sectors, including agribusiness, textiles, crafts, renewable energy, and sustainable tourism. He also outlined the structural reforms undertaken by MICEEP, including the digitalization of services, the simplification of procedures, and personalized support for investors, both national and foreign.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss the prospects for concrete partnerships between operators in the two countries.
