On March 19 and 20, 2025, Mr. Karim Zidane, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government for Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation, participated in the meetings of the Finance and Economic Development Committee of the House of Representatives and the Finance, Planning, and Economic Development Committee of the House of Councilors, to study draft Decree-Law No. 2.25.168 supplementing Law No. 47.18 on the reform of regional investment centers and creating unified regional investment commissions, which is part of the activation of the special support mechanism for very small, small, and medium-sized enterprises, provided for in Framework Law No. 03.22 establishing the investment charter.
This draft decree-law aims to ensure the effective implementation of the special support system for very small, small and medium-sized enterprises, by invoking a territorial approach in line with the spirit of advanced regionalization, by strengthening the role of regional investment centers and unified regional commissions in order to support this important category of companies, which have a crucial role in creating employment opportunities and strengthening the national economic fabric.
